Fear of open spaces

I have this major fear of shipwrecks and anything that submerges in water.
I can't stand looking at deep sea fish the ones that are in the hidden depths, because they scare me so much.
I love the sea I think it's beautiful, but things that lie beneath it's depths creep me out, so much.
I have no problems with sharks or any other tropical fish, I think they're cool.
But shipwrecks or submarines or any such shadows in the sea scares the living day lights out of me.
My friend sent me a picture of the Titanic once whilst it was rotting in the hidden depths of the sea, I was in tears after.
I realised it got worse when I was doing the dishes and a cup fell into the washing bowel, and it sunk and all the bubbles rose to the top and it just disapeared into the cloudy water, I was so scared I wanted to run away.
I'm also ashamed to say it happens in the bath too, when I drop something and it sinks to the bottom and I can't see or find it, I just get uneasy and I feel sick and have to have a shower instead.
I think it started when I played a game when I was younger, you were a scuba diver and you had to swim through the misty ocean and all these large shadow fish and shipwrecks were around and it scared me so much.
I hope I'm not alone.

I always have a fear of very deep lakes and especially while swimming in one. Thinking about watery depth freaks me out. Deep pools are fine except if they are 15 feet or deeper. One time I went to Boundary Water Canoe Area in Minnesota and it was a very hot day so I hopped in the lake thinking it is about 12 feet deep, but I sobbed and told people to pull me out when one man told me the spot I'm swimming in is 120 + feet deep as told on the map. When my fear of depth is improving, I went to granite quarry lakes and swam all day until I walked past a billboard saying that this lake is 450 feet deep! This send shrivels up my spine. at 10 yrs old I had one dream about a gigantic white propane-like tank that is a million feet deep with thousand of bluish green glowing mushrooms on the floor. A woman in black swinsuit dove down in this pool and went deeper and deeper. This was the scariest dream that haunts my whole life so far.

I have a terrible fear of edges, standing on one makes me so nervous like even when I'm safe I still feel like I might fall off.

I have a phobia of objects submerged under the water such as rocks (especially), sunken ships, etc.. This proves difficult to swim in lakes or oceans, and I can't manage to make myself go underwater. But in a pool, I can swim under water fine.

I am afraid of steep cliffs, and long drops. Like the time I was skiing in the Rockies and couldn't climb to the mountain top because I was afraid of falling off. But once I had my skis on , it was no problem skiing down. Just can't stand looking over an abyss because I have this crazy compulsion to want to jump off!
