I am terrified of grapes. I am not scared of choking or food poisoning or anything I'm just scared of the actual fruit. I can't even be in the same room as someone who's eating grapes and I won't go in the fridge if I know theres grapes in there.

It seems I can hardly ever finish the last bite of anything solid or bread-like like a sandwich without feeling nauseous. I think it's because I feel like the last bite is the wrong size and I am afraid of swallowing air along with it.

I freak out when people touch my cheese!! lol as crazsy as it sounds. I can handle it if i see people with gloves preparing my food.. but if im at home and someone tries to make me a sandwich or some thing i freak out. jus the thought of the dirt on someone hands being on my cheese makes me sick to my stomach.

i have a fear of jelly.... even the word freaks me out.. i shake every time i see it or hear someone say the word.. i get a lump in my throat like im going to be sick... even on tv i hate it.... even cartoon jelly freaks me out i dont why but i really really hate it... but i still have no idea the name of the phobia

I am absolutly petrified of jelly and jelly like substances im not exactly a dramatic girly person but i cant even look at jelly with out screaming out or feeling as if im going to throw up. Its horrible I cant even be with my friends if they eat it. I dont even know why or how it started.

I'm not afraid of the taste of fruit (juices). In fact I love a good glass of orange juice, but I can't make myself swallow actual fruit. Something about the way it feels in my mouth just makes me gag and cry. My parents have always gotten on to me about needed to balance my diet, but I just can't eat fruit!

I can not go near any form of cinnamon even the word freaks me out my brother eats cinnamon toast crunch and has the box of it in the pantry next to mine i can't get my cereal because it is there. I have gotten it in my eye 7 times and i have eaten cinnamon 7 times and visine only made it worse.

I'm not afraid of condiments, as others are. I am afraid of these substances touching my skin. I've been looking for a while and I have never come across anyone with this fear. No. Fear isn't the right word. My friends laugh whenever I scream at mustard falling on my hand, but I truly believe I have some sort of phobia or condition. A few months ago I was at a restuarant. As I was walking back from the bathroom a woman unintetionally dripped ketchup on my arm. It was a huge glob. I smiled and nodded at her apology to be polite and raced off to the bathroom, but by the time I got there, I was balling. I washed my hands for 10 minutes!

I can't stand, the smell, look, or taste of condiments particularly mustard, mayo, ketchup, pickles, relishes ( I hate how the words relish and pickle sounds as well). I think it comes from watching my neighbors when I was a kid, eating white (Wonder) bread and mustard sandwiches. Even if I think something might have mayo or what ever in it, I cringe.

I'm afraid of chewing gum. I hate the sound people make while chewing it and I hate the sight of it. If I am around someone who is chewing it, I will beg them to spit it out. If they refuse, I will stick my finger in my ear and turn away so I cannot see or hear them.

I have a really, really weird fear of oranges. As in the fruit. I hate the smell, and the texture and the gross white stuff. It's just the idea of peeling an orange..ughhh. it makes me cringe. I just have this image of someone peeling all my skin off and throwing it away. It's horrible. They make me feel so ill!

My son is 8 years old and gags if anyone has food on their face, or crumbs on the floor. He even gags if his plate has remains on it, and it is not off the table quick enough, he will gag and has even sometimes vomited.... is there a specific name for it? A phobia, or anxiety?

I am afarid to eat anything that has been touched. If i think someone breathed on my food I can't eat it. If anyones hands or a fork that has been eaten off of touch my food I will not eat it. If I go to a restruant I can't bring home left-overs because I can't eat food that I myself have touched. I hate pasta because I have to continualy stick my fork back into the pasta after I ate off of it. I don't know what this phobia is called, but I am constatnly teased for it. A friend of mine mad me a sandwhich for my birthday last year and i stuck it into the oven on broil for 20 minutes before eating it in tiny swallow sized bites, just because I was afraid to tell him that I couldnt eat things that have been touched. I ended up getting sick anyway because I knew his hands had touched it.

I guess I have a phobia towards expired foods. It's like when a food spoils I don't dare eat it and if I do then I spit it out and wash my mouth out for more than 5 minutes.

I have a phobia of eggs. It is completely irrational as I eat things that have been cooked with eggs like cake or bread, no problem.
I am scared of eating eggs or touching raw or cooked eggs. I cannot eat Fried Rice with eggs or French Toast. I can eat at the same table as someone who is eating an egg, but I cannot touch or clean their plate or flatware when they are finished eating. I can cook with eggs, but I have learned to crack the egg with out the raw part touching my skin & afterward I throw away the shells & bury them in the garbage so I will not accidentaly touch them later.
